What Will School Look Like When We Return?

The Miller Creek School District is working collaboratively with county offices, surrounding districts, and stakeholder groups to design multiple scenarios that illustrate both remote and classroom learning options while adhering to the most current safety guidelines. The Marin County Office of Education has provided an informative website to guide our work:  Rethinking Schools: A Public Health Guided Return to Site-Based Instruction in the Age of COVID-19. I encourage you to check out the website for up to date information on our planning considerations.

Whatever form school takes next fall, know that the teachers and staff of Vallecito are dedicated to working in partnership with you to care for your children. Together we will solve the challenges of safely returning to site-based instruction. As always, I am but an email away.

Celebrating Our Retirees

Ms. Elinson and Dannie Jones are retiring at the end of this school year.  Although we are unable to celebrate together in our usual manner, we have reimagined how to thank them for their years of service to Vallecito.  Your Grade Level Reps shared a communication last week explaining our plan to shower them with love notes in their mailboxes.  Please refer to that communication for all the details and set aside some time to participate.
